Is this going to get supported in future Cross releases as it's one of the toys ive been playing with the idea of buying I know that you can MIDI map it but I would just prefer plug and play

Ok, dude,
The mapping is the MIDI programming for the controller to work with the software ...

So, no plug & play, because we haven't planned to do the job for now. ;)

To answer your question XDJ-R1, if the unit is MIDI mappable, then yes, you can map it. To be sure that you aren't disappointed, be sure to check into the entire unit being MIDI mappable, as most "all in one" controllers only allow certain things to be mapped. Having said that, I can almost guarantee that the screen and information on the screen will not be able to be MIDI mapped, so you would be better looking for a controller that didn't have that kind of display unless you are looking to use it with Serato.

I would also check out the video, as lots of people are having issues with the unit

Look at your entry prior to this one. It has a small picture of the software that you registered below your user name.
