I have for many years now digitized my vinyl using soundforge and then converted to mp3 16bit 128kps 44100hz. i want to improve my sound quality. i noticed that soundforge allows me to record in 32bit 328kbs 48000hz. are all three of these compatible with the u-mix-control pro mixer and Cross DJ. are they advisable settings for increased quality. (i have a recent alienware laptop with over 1tb of storage so processing power and storage are not a problem). can anyone recomend any other combination that would be desirable. also is there a problem of mixixng mp3's with diffrerent sample frequencies, and bit depths. Any advice would be greatly valued. Thanks Jim

It can handle 320kbps no issues but depends on your PC spec. I wont play anything less than 192kbps because it sounds like ass. It handles 320 no issues on my mac.

Go for audacity and don't waste your time. Actually, why do you digitize vinyl? It loses its warm and soft sound after digitizing, doesn't it?
