I've been reading about SteamOS and I think it's a brilliant move. I've got a feeling that this is going to hit Windows hard, but it's a great move.

ya they said that Microsoft is keeping a eye out for steam
. so ubuntu i feel is going to grow giving us djs and day to day users a another option that we wont have to tweak to get working
with nvidia or amd as it stands right now .
u have to tweak your laptop to make nvidia cards run right .
plug and play will come to ubuntu which steamos is based off of .

this will open most peoples minds.there or 55 million users for steam.
my hope is that mixvibes sees that ubuntu can be a viable option.
even now its faster than both mac and windows.

I think a lot of the small problems that we've had with compatibility will be solved pretty quickly now that Valve is releasing this new OS. A true plug-and-play version of Linux will the most amazing thing to happen in computing for years.
