Hi couple questions firstly downloaded Mixvibes Cross DJ today full paid version and cant find serial number to register

I have 2 cdj 2000 and djm 800 mixer

Running a mac with Cross DJ

I got mac sorted and synced the decks but it only play deck a, wheni go to use deck b loads up the song but when i go to use the deck play pause etc it controls deck a on the cdm

Pioneers have latest firmware 4.20 so the Pioneer software is right

audio device it only lets me pick 1 2000

routining mode i have chosen external routing mode

so I can play one deck only and not the left deck

any help would be great as I have looked everwhere on you tube and google, but facing the same problem

Thanks

Mickey

I guess you bought Cross DJ on the AppStore?

If you haven't already read it, have a look at the CDJ-2000 MIDI doc:

When I plug my cables into the PC it doesn't let me pick deck a or deck b I just get push to connect

I can run the a deck but it plays b deck controlling a deck

I just need to figure out how to get b deck to work stand alone

Ok. Let's try a small FAQ ;)

- Both CDJs are controlling the same deck?
=> Change the MIDI channel on the CDJ according to the doc.

- Both decks are outputting to the same CDJ?
=> You need to aggregate both CDJs either using the Pioneer tool (check their website), or doing a manual aggregation in mac utility "Audio MIDI Setup".
=> In Cross audio preferences, select the aggregated device, check the routing mode is "External Mixer", check both outputs are routed.

But all these information already exist on this forum.

Let us know how it goes!
