Hi there.
I dont like the way the sync button works on my Control Pro 2. I want the sync button to JUST match the BPM and Shift+Sync to sync to the beat. How easy is it to swap this function around?

Seriously, decrease my Karma all you want. Either read the manual or use the search function, there's tons of threads how to map.
Noones's gonna feed you with a silver spoon when the issue is most basic.
btw the FM is online.

I have used the search function and read the manual online. There is nothing in there about mapping the Sync button.
I have paid for this product and would prefer less of a bad attitude from you.
I am simply asking a question, if you do not want to answer it, then please don't reply.
Kind regards
Dean

Also, I am fully aware of how to map my MIDI controller. What I am unfamiliar with is which commands to swap around.

http://www.mixvibes.com/sites/default/f ... manual.pdf"ctrl+f" :MIDI -> first hit:
4.9 Using the MIDI Presets for DJ Controllers /49
4.10 Defining your own Presets and Controls /50
and you read it, when you said you didnt have it minutes ago......

Are you kidding me now? Those are the
exact commands.
You map "match bpm" on the desired button and then "sync" on the button while holding shift.

Ok, please don't blame Hannes, he ain't working for Mixvibes, just found of Mixvibes, hanging around here in his freetime, and a bit fed up with newbies coming with basic question, most of the time without having even tried to find the solution by theirself.
However, you're plainly right, as you paid a piece of software, to expect from Mixvibes some help and answers to your questions.
Then, here we go.
- Go into the MIDI preferences.
- In the U-Mix Control Pro 2 tab, check the right controller is selected (it should be, as you are using it so far).
- At the bottom of this list, click the 'x2' button to duplicate the built-in controller and then be able to modify it.
- On the left side, in the control tree, expand "Player 1" and go to the line "Sync with Master".
- Click the button ("N3 CH1") to edit the mapping.
- On your controller, hold "Sync" + "Shift". It should display "MIDI event: Channel 4 Note 0x3". While holding, validate with "OK". If you have a popup showing, click "re-assign".
- Go to the "Match BPM with Master".
- Click "+" to add a new mapping.
- Press "Sync" on your controller. It should display "MIDI event: Channel 1 - Note 0x3".
- Validate with "OK".
And you're done for the first player.
Then, do the same for Player 2.
Let me know if it works as you want!
Cheers,
