just a quick question,,,

I use cdj850's for my soundcard, but if I wanted to start using 4 decks, how could I do that ?

Can I add an extra soundcard ??

But it seems as if you can only select one soundcard at a time ???

Thanks guys.. :D

 have you checked the possible audio routings in audio preferences ,, remember wishes of ability to use four set of outputs ,dont think it has been implemented yet ,, the audio preferences will tell ,,
:?: are you asking about using 4 cdj,to be your 4 decks :?:
t c control is still limited to two deck

If you are on a mac, and have another sound card, you can "aggregate" the sound cards so that you can use both at the same time.

From what I gather, you have (2) 850's? if you currently use them as sound cards then they are already aggregating themselves together, but to add another card might be tricky.

Hi, yes Im using the two cdj850s aggrevated together.

So to use the 4 decks I guess I would need to buy a 4 output soundcard ?

Maybe a Tracktor A10.

Thanks, Jeff

you can use any 2 Stereo/4 mono sound card together with your CDJ's to get the extra 2 channels. You don't need to get the Audio 10 or any expensive sound card.
You could get some of the ESI sound card like the Maya 44 USB+ that would give you 2 Stereo/4 mono in/out or the ESI UDJ6 if you only need outputs.
You just add the sound card to the aggregated setup in MIDI/audio on your Mac.

With the Maya 44 you'll have the option to add turntables and use timecode if you wish to at some point.
