Video crossfading when using CDJ850's ???

Postby Jeff Wood on 27 Aug 2013, 15:44

Hi guys,,

Ive got bought the the Video Plug In,

At the moment I'm having to do the video crossfades using the mouse,

I'd like to know if there is a better way?

Is it possible to map any keys on the CDJ's (850's), I'm thinking this isn't possible as they are HID connected.

For example, it would be good to have the Reverse button as the video Cross fader button, no one uses reverse :)

Or any better ideas ?? maybe a separate MIDI controller ???

Thanks, Jeff.

  the main reason for regerstering your software on the fourm is to validate the software as legitimate ,, ,,also gives you a secure place in case of loss or misplacement ,, ,,give info as to your set up and any particuliars ,,check the vid topic pages for related and the MIDI section for info also ,, unable to help you my self due to no experience with cdj/hid /vid plug in ,,
try to put your hands on the licence keys ,to get them regerstered

ok will do,, can't seem to find any emails from mixvibes with my licence key, and its installed on another PC. I'll have another search through my emails.

I will get it sorted though as Ive got another issue,,cue points,,as in not letting me put a cue point where I want it to be,

Aprt from that, Im getting on really well with Mixvibes, and that's coming from an ex serator/traktor user..

cheers

haha Thanks Daniel,, and you are truly the emoticon king

I'll have to set the system up, its on a different PC, rackmount, and have a search for the snap feature.

To be honest its been a major pita, bit saying that its the only issue really that ive come across with mixvibes.

It just wont let me put a cue point where want it to be, ie at the first beat of a track or the first main beat,,been driving me mad

Hey you were right about the snap feature, just turned it off and its fine !!!

Thank God for that, it had been making me mad, just could not work out why,,

But one question, why the funk does it come switched on ??

It's put quite a few of my friend off Mixvibes , someone needs to have a word with the boss about this
