noise when playing vinyl

Hi there, i've got some problems connected with umixcontrol pro2. I think i can't even explain it right. It appears to be not possible for me to connect it properly with turntables. It recognizes the records, u can hear them play but with noise , noise all over the music; when i`m trying asio4all v2 its less noisy, but still not playable. I'm using a soundcraft efx8 mixer connected to some active speakers.
I connect the turntables (Numark ttxII in line mode) to the inputs of the ucontrol (line). But when i want to play vinyl or timecode nothing is to be heard except the noise at high volumes. (i followed all the instructions in the manual for the audio setup inthe prefrences; external mixer mode, dual stereo, but nothing works) Whats the problem? I had the u46mkII before and it worked. Please help, I#m getting desperate. thanks in advance..

  turntables / time code control / U-Mix Control Pro 2 ,,
plus Cross DJ which is only MIDI controllable ,, unless you have Cross as your software to play time code ,, its not going to work
 :surprised: have i missed something you didnt mention what software you are running in this set up ,, if its Cross then please regerster it on the fourm as you have regerstered your Cross DJ licence key

thanks for your quick answer, so you mean when I install the other software which came with the umkII, it should be possible? It worked for me with timecodevinyls before I bought the ucontrol...

 if the other software is Cross, yes ,, if its DVS Producer or any variation of DVS,no the U-Mix Control Pro is not supported by that software ,
