Newbie needs help Mapping

Hi Guys, Newbie here.
Need help if anyone can?
I cannot Map a DAC 2, I am just trying the free software, is it because I am only on the free version that it won't allow me to map a controller?
Any and all help is much appreciated...

There is no MIDI on this version free
