news for us djs and windows 8.1 (do not use )

i was using windows 8.1 preview for the last 3 days
at first it felt faster with using dx 11.2
but then it started locking up cause of driver probs
so stay away from windows 8.1 for now .
things i liked it seems that this is the windows they should have had things or easier to get to and seems to use less hard drive space

this is ture i new there would be bugs but
did not know that there would be driver probs as i did not have this prob with windows 8 preview

Was considering the upgrade from Windows 7 - think I'll wait a while now. Thanks for the useful information.

Win8 is great imo, but we're talking bout 8.1 which is a preview right now and not all drivers install flawlessly or at all...
I installed win7 on my MSI for fun, but went back to win8 in only a day...

yes 8.1 windows 8 works great
