R.C's before Final Release?

Hi all, just out of curiosity. I was wandering if other R.C. releases get scheduled before the Final Releases. What I mean is, if a R.C. is released & found to have issues, obviously that will get worked on/fixed. Thereafter is another R.C. released for testing before the Final is released or is the Final just released after those issues are sorted out?

I've only known one update for Cross to have required 2 RC versions in order to iron out the bugs before the official version was released.

I think I'm correct in saying that.

Ok, I understand now. So when a RC is found to have bugs, the beta testers will test the fixed version till it's perfect, then it becomes a final release. I was just curious if the RC is rolled out one after another until all agree it's stable. Thanks for the info guys ;)

Sounds about right, mate

But normally the Dev team are bang on and it only takes one RC version ;)
