HELP PLEASE IDJ3 - ipod

I have the IDJ3. I used it once and everything was fine. I wiped my Windows 7 computer and reinstalled it today and now my ipod isnt showing up on the side panel the way it used to. I even tried on my mac Book pro and nothing. No ipod showing.
What am i doing wrong?
