Hi Everyone,

Was planning to introduce myself in that foeum, but no option for a new topic. So i am here and it goes. For 3 years with Denon's DN-S3700's and Serato, recently switched to CDJ2000 Nexus. Very upset because Serato has no HIB for the Nexus CDJ's. thefroe used Rekordbox. After researching, i was lead to Mixvibes and seemed to be really impresssed. My question is, Is there a free Trial that i can use to Test mu CDJ's prior to making a Purchase? i clearly understand that the Demo Video just shows a 30 sec set-up. is that really all? or is the drivers, etc....

Thoughts are welcome

have to check if the free version has accessibility to the hid feature ,,if not still the free version will give you a feeling for the software ,,accesibility to posting on the fourm is limited incertain areas for regerstered users ,, feel free to ask any question on the gen chat page till you make up your mind to get the software ,,, then dont forget to regerster it in the fourm, then access to post in approaite fourm pages ,,,also feel free to search the fourm using they key word search to help you find any info pertainite to your inquiry

thank you for the Prompt response. This forum seems to be very helpful as i have been searching through it. From my understanding, we resiter the software in our profile by entering the serial number issued? Also we i go to the "buy now" option, it tells me Ver 2.0, once i make that purchase do i automatically get the update to 2.3 for free?

Yes, after registration you get to see 'Download center' where the updates are.

have you found out any info as to the 2000 nexus ,,,

i have seen the HID Demo video. I seem to be convinced and will make the purchase. I know that many on this forum using Mixvibes highly worship the software. Together with MIK & PN I will be free of any issues....

you will need the right firmware for the cdj 2000.
..might be ok with the new cdj 2000 nexus as it will have the new cdj firmware

you also need mixvibes Cross ...{not Cross DJ } to run HID MIDI

you will also need the software CDJ Aggregator...so you dont get 2 audio out-puts running out of one output on your cdj 2000

Right i do have the latest firmware on the CDJ Ver 1.10. The Cross is 2.0 when i selected the "but now" option (USD 99.99). Where do i get the CDJ Aggregator software.

just noticed thati already had the CDJ Drivers installed. Went back into my Archives and Tried out the VDJ Pro in HID mode seemd to be good. Not good enough for me though.
