Is it possible to use mixvibes for Karaoke, I have Cross DJ with the video plugin, but it only plays the new mp4 tracks. Is there a way of playing the old mp3+g tracks?

Not directly...

But you can convert them... there are tools out there to convert the MP3+G to MP4/AVI/etc.
