Hi all, please forgive me if this has already been asked. I did do a relatively exhaustive search but came up with nothing. Im currently using a NS6 with Traktor, because I'm having issues with Itch & SDJ is still filled with "teething issues". I don't see the NS6 on the list of supported controllers, so I want to know if anyone has managed to map a NS6 to work properly with CrossDj. The NS6 works well with Traktor except for the Jog wheels. I tried the free version of CrossDj & really like the program as a whole. I'm seriously considering purchasing it, but only if someone can assure me I will have better response from the NS6 jog wheels than what I have with Traktor. Also just something for the Mixvibes team to consider here: There are MANY NS6 users that feel the same frustration I do, where we have been let down by the only Software (serato) that actually supports the hi-res jogs of the NS6. If Mixvibes were to offer native support for the NS6 (actually NS7 too!), you will gain a large number of Traktor & Serato users. Which would certainly be worthwhile. I will drop the cash instantly if / when this is available. Please consider this, I am desperate for a high quality software to support my high quality controller. Thanks for reading my long first post. I hope to hear some positive feedback. Cheers!

hi ACEMC welcome to the mixvibes forums..
I to feel your pain...
I love mixvibes software .. I love my Numark ns7...Itch not so much...its OK.. BUT ,I will not be updating to serato DJ when its out for the ns7 because Serato DJ seem's way to buggy and untested
and as for the MIDI mapping ...that will not MIDI map anything useful ,.{ no MIDI mapping loop-rolls , no slicer ,no 4 deck mapping ,no led lights [MIDI output] }...when you get past the long, long wait....and serato trying to blow it up to be the best thing ever.... what do you get....something that is not much better than itch with more bugs
would love to use my Numark ns7 with Cross...as posted in other post
a friend has the ns6 ...so I will take a look at the MIDI mapping the jog-wheels this weekend

I have started to do the mapping it was going pretty fine until I've tried to reproduce the shift for the auto/manual loop. Something is missing into Cross to finish this controler, so for now I'm in a wait state with an unfinished mapping.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Support@MixVibes - Did you map the jogs? How did they work? Wazza, I'll be really grateful if you can test this for me. UncleVibes, I'm sure a nudge from you won't hurt I might become a CrossDj owner sooner than I thought. Thanks for the input.

acemc not an issue for me while mapping, they were ok. You can also fine tune them easily with Cross.
MusicMeister, honestly can't remember (too far in my head). I have access to an NS6 I need to get back at the office and finish the work. One of my main concerned was the ring light around the jogs wheel.

So we can map led output too? That's fantastic news!! I wish there was some sort of trial version, even if the audio cut out after every 10 mins or so. Then I could at least get a proper idea of what I'm gonna buy.

Im already using the demo, which is great. I was just hoping to test the jog response before purchase. But you're right, the price is so good to start with, It's almost a no brainer. This will take my purchased DJ software to number 4. I hope it's gonna be the last!! Will there be an upgrade path for me from CrossDJ to Cross with DVS support? If so, any idea how much upgrade will be? .....AND.... where to get the timecode vinyls from? Im in Jhb, South Africa. Thanks.
