I'm thinking about one MIDI controller for samples, and one for music. Maybe this is already possible?

  i think this is possiblle now ,,a few people are using the akai lp8 for the sample banks and a controller or tc for the regular track decks   Cross can handle up to 8 MIDI controllers ,,it might even be possible to add you DJ 2 go to the MIDI control and control your sample pads and possibly even the four decks predicitated

That would be brilliant! My little DJ2Go was an amazing little bit of gear, and it worked great. I'd love to be able to use my Control Pro for music, and my DJ2Go for samples and effects...

Just a matter of programming I imagine

And it's amazing how flexible Cross became. The way that the 2 new players can be transform to sample decks. Really cool and all the new functions...Great job from the Team.
