Vfx Control

Hello, I am new to the forum and have a couple of questions. Is the Vfx Control still being manufactured or has it been discontinued? It doesn't seem like it is readily available for purchase anywhere. Also, is the Vfx software that comes with the unit just as good as Cross DJ software? I am interested in mixing music & video and it seems like this unit would be a good fit for me. I have done a bit of research on the new Pioneer DDJ-SX with Serato Video but I can't afford it just yet. Lastly, how is the sound quality of the Vfx Control?

Any help would be appreciated....thanks a bunch!

Hey thanks Dan. Presently I am probably going to use my Windows Dual Core 2 running Vista....I have 3GB of RAM and my 3D video card looks like more than enough to meet the Vfx spec. I may also use a Win7 machine which is my sons. This machine is more powerful than the Vista but I have to check out the internals on the video card.

So you think Cross is the way to go? I will definitely check it out.

Does Mixvibes sell a controller that is capable of mixing video & audio like the Vfx unit?

I will definitely check out the postings in video support. Thanks again Dan for your direction...
