I've been doing gigs at my local pub for over a year now, and most of them have been parties or regular karaoke nights - which is good, and mostly fun.
Tonight, I had a gig in the back room, where the young dudes hang out, and they usually want something a little more 'interesting'!
Oh, they got it! A straight-up 3 hour pop/dance/house mix from me, Cross DJ, and my Control Pro, including loops, samples, and effects!
I haven't enjoyed myself so much for years!
The manager of the pub used to run some of the biggest clubs in my city, and he told me that I could have worked in any of them, based on my gig tonight.
I'm so happy I might just get that tattoo!
