As I have said before, I am willing to be a guinea pig if the Mixvibes team wanted to remote connect to my machine. I am also willing to bet the team at AA would be willing to send a controller to the team at or below cost if asked. Hell, I'd send mine if I didn't need it. I am hoping the new firmware resolves the issues I have been having with mapping, etc. - I have been having all kinds of problems doing it, and can't understand what I am doing incorrectly (if anything) . big ups for your leg work ,,have to look into getting this info as a posting in tips and tutorials or MIDI mapping section ,,hate to ask you to contiune on this mission ,,but i think you know the effort will be worth it by the outcome ,,as jiim said there are users that are more confortable with MIDI mappings ,, but not thinking this should be thier effort alone and i dont think they will stand by and let you struggle alone

UPDATE: Installing the Firmware update below makes the American Audio VMS 4.1 FULLY FUNCTIONAL in Cross!!!
You simply flash the firmware to this "Mixvibes" version, and then use the "VMS 4" template in Mixvibes - if you wish to customize MIDI mappings, simply duplicate the original config, then tweak as you please! A HUGE shout out to the folks at American Audio for making this happen, and happen quickly!
I have hosted the files you will need at new urls should the others go dark.
MAKE SURE THAT THE POWER ADAPTER IS CONNECTED TO THE VMS4.1 AND THE POWER IS ON WHEN PERFORMING THIS UPDATE. FIRMWARE UPDATES ARE DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I gave a try to the VMS4.1 firmware for MixVibes yesterday and it did what it was supposed to do: It fixed the jogwheels and the effect buttons that didn't work out of the box with factory firmware 5.11.

But as I was suspecting, the firmware breaks the VMS4.1 compatibility with Traktor, so the jogwheels don't work anymore... But who needs traktor anyway if they can enjoy Cross?! ahahah
Anyway, I asked American Audio to give me the factory firmware file and they were quite fast in sending it, just as a security if I need to use it again with other software.
