mix recording...

hi,can someone please help!?

How do i record what im mixing?

i'm running deck a+b of Cross DJ le through u-mix44 into channels 1+2 of my Vestax pcv 275 pro mixer.

do i run out of master on mixer, back into input of u-mixx44?

if so,how do i configure? :lol: :rolleyes:

:cool: there is a tutorial back in arcives for info as to recording ,,think its by gatto will look it up and post a link ,, some info untill a definitive answer :cool:

sorted. i have now routed master out on mixer into mic. on laptop. running mixvibe audio record i am able to copy my mix,but when i stop the recording,and try to play back,up pops annoying little box saying audio recorder stopped working;im assuming its to do with configuration;any ideas?...

:cool: :cool: from what i gather you have to use a second computer to rec with ,,my question is the recording program responding /acting properly as it should when you are using it in a normal fashion,, trying to determine if its the setup or the added task of trying to record for the out put of your mixer is the issue :?: :cool:

Instead writing more and more it would be very helpfull if you post some screenshots of all your audio settings (windows, Cross, recording software, driver settings).
EDIT:
Most laptop onboard soundcards only have a mic in, Daniel.
So it is important to deactivated things like "+20db" or "MicBoost"
Thats why he should post all settings.

not shure that you can get a good quality rec by using the same computer to record with ,,thats what tut was for ,,info :cool: :cool:

Yes you can do this with your setup.
if you use win7 you can make pictures from parts of your screen via the snipping tool. hit the windows button, enter "snipp" and hit enter to start it.
