Hello everyone out there

Quick intro.
-Background in computers/electronics
-Currently do home automation/security/cctv and anything low voltage for a small company near Toronto, Ontario
-Always been into audio, from car and home audio, and now into pro audio
-Wanted to do something different so I built all my speakers from plans, bought amps, processors etc, than I got the itch to start mixing some music, and here I am
It started as a hobby to throw parties in our basement with lights and music, and then I got the itch to start doing it for bigger events etc. I have a wedding and a couple of small events for friends under my belt, but still growing.
I think I am finally at home with CrossDJ. I have tried Torq (came with my Xponent). I could never get the hang of it no matter how much I tried, also didn't feel right to me. I played around with VirtualDJ a bunch and liked it, but found it way overpriced for what you got.
Spent the last month looking at a bunch of different software and by luck happened on CrossDJ the other night. After watching a few videos and looking at screenshots it looked temping. The price was killer so how could I go wrong.
Played around a bit last night and its living up to my expectations so far. Looking forward to spending more time on this forum, it seems like a bunch of great individuals on here.
Cheers.
