Why oh why did it get shipped with 7" vinyl?! I already have a soundcard so just bought Cross with the timecodes but don't understand why doesn't ship with 12" records.Surely can't cost much more, interesting to find out if any one uses the 7 inch ones.

When I brought Cross (Boxed) I received the 7" TC vinyls too.

I've never used them as I ordered a pair of the 12" ones at the same time. I think the idea behind it is to get you started.

In all honestly though the 7" TC vinyls are almost useless really ;)

Yeah tbh pretty useless not even tested them out and probably won't, which is a waste but after playing full size vinyl would feel weird. Not sure going to purchase 12" replacements as might invest in cd decks instead as my ortfon needles quite worn now and aren't cheap to replace so am thinking might just try out the cd's. I can not afford pro cdjs unfortunately so am wondering how good the timecode cds work with older model cd decks. Im thinking of purchasing rack mounted mixer and twin cd player in a flight case for gigs. Cheers

why dont u buy a MIDI controller instead? its an all-in-one solution and wouldnt be too different from any kind of cdjs and probably a lot cheaper

@boc Yeah i've abeen looking into controllers but still lv mixing vinyl and using my turntables so wanted something that had 4 channels that could handle MIDI and also DVS. I've mapped my x-session pro to mixvibes and although its very basic responds well. Im going to buy vms4.1 i think seems good all rounder and is well built with loads of options for expanding my setup plus now sorted audio problems out that had in the previous version think i am going to buy one. Have used one before in a bar and it felt really nice and solid with good faders, metal construction and rubberised knobs plus come down in price. Going to wait until new year then treat myself ha!
