Mix Vibe Cross Package Software

Hello Mix Vibe Family,
I am a new member of this forum and just wanted to say hello. My name is My name is Favian aka "Favio". Wanted to see if you guys can help me out. I have an external component. I have a Stanton C501 CD player and a Stanton RM404 Mixer using a Dell 17r
Laptop with Windows 7. Wanted to know what software package I can use to run my system? I am not a professional DJ, it's my hobby and love music. I have bought the ion Discover DJ component and loved the Mix Vibes software it came with. I want to stick to Mix Vibes and wanted to know what software package I can use. Someone told me I can use the Mix Vibes Cross Package. I figure I come straight to the source and get the right answers. If so
I am Curious to know if I am still able to play my CDs once software is installed and if I am able to see my CD tracks on the labtop screen and be able to mix CD tracks with the software.

well welcome to mixvibes ,, a lot of possibilities the first thing to ask of you is to regerster your software on the fourm , that will give you the option of up grade prices on software /hardware have to deal with the rest of your one at a time
i want to suggest the U-Mix Control Pro,,,has installed sc and is steps up from the ion ddj , the software Cross DJ is updatable,,you can play your cd s on the player in the pass thru mode ,, later if you want to go to time code control then upgradeing to the full ver of Cross this would be possible

Thank you for your prompt response. I am in the process of buying my software, the only worries I have is that I want to purchase the right software that can be used with my Stanton C501 and my Stanton RM404 mixer.Which package would be recommended by you thats simple to use and compatible with what I have.

if you have the software for the ion ddj ,,regerster it please ,,,,,have you put your cd collection on your computer yet ,, as said eariler the cd player can be played in the pass through mode ( to play you cd s) if there on the computer the software can manage/mix them ,,,not shure what type of mixer you have ,havent looked it up on the web ,,,,the main question is what you want to accomplish and how will/want to use your existing equiptment

Well, you doN't have many options, because MixVibes main line of product is Cross 2, and the stuff come with it if you buy that in packages.

i so desperate and been wondering this question for ages.
i have my mixvibes package (Cross Pack software is version 2.0

1 question: how do you guyz do mac laptop keyboard mapping?
2 question: i have been using it for 3 months. but when i look youtube what others do their features are different of mine. in mine i don't see crass fade button, and when i go to samples bank is empty. and i tried to upload samples but i just can't!

help please........
