Hi all,

I'm Matt, from Hull. Uni student in Leeds.

Just bought a U-Mix Control Pro, and loving it! Quality little controller.

Until now, I've used VirtualDJ, but obviously with this controller, CrossDJ is the only software compatible. I'm finding a slight issue though, and was hoping someone could inform me or help me out with it...

There are no track keys in my database of music, and was wondering why. There was in VDJ, and all I had to do was analyse my music and it'd analyse the song key too. Does CrossDJ not have this key-detection feature? And if not, how would I go about inputting the keys for each track?

Many thanks

Sorry but Cross don't have, yet, this option. You have to use another, external, software to find your track keys.

Ok thanks. Do you have any idea if MixVibes are intending to add this feature in any software update any time soon?

And would anyone be able to advise on a good bit of software that could detect keys? It's just a bit of effort (though do-able) having to detect the key of each track myself while mixing

We had a discussion a few weeks ago about this. You may find it interesting.
