Is there any chance that you would support the NS7, I am also a user of Serato Itch and the NS7, however the development of the Itch software is behind and Itch users looking for other software to use with the NS7.
This might be a good oortunity for MixVIbes to capture.

It think that you can make your own mapping for it.

For the LEDs, I'll help making the mappings.

It's not the LEDs that the problem with mapping in mix vibes..it's the moving platter
The sound card in the ns7 works and most button , knobs and faders can be mapped......but not the platter....without the moving platter there is no point
Just stick with itch

It depends on what does the platter sends, what kind of signals.
VDJ has motorised platter functions afaik, but I think there must be a way to map those platters, maybe messing with the combo-jog option. And layering the loop-size adjust and other stuff is just the top of the iceberg.

I wanted to get and NS7 2 years ago, so here is my opinion:

Get any technical and prectical info on how that works, what it sends, etc, and how the motorised platter works. It needs some time to figure out.
There must be a way to make those platters work, even if you don't use the motor.

Try to find evidence for the motor, that if it can be controlled by MIDI output.

Switching the motor on/off isn't an issue. The issue is the messages sents by the jog : not handled by Cross.

This need specific coding (time) and for the user base of NS7 that would jump to Cross (most of them are satisfied with Itch) there is no interest on our side of doing this.

I suggest you check the user base of Itch and you would see how unsatified people are

The truth is that nobody in Mixvibes took (had) the time in 2 years to clear some difficulties with some specific commands and controls. It wasn't a priority.
I don't think that Itch users are so satisfied with their limited edition...
Conclusion: we surely miss something but we can't fight on all fronts we aren't strong enough.
