Heyy people, I've got a problem with my Cross software. When i try loading a track on the deck without the sound card connected, i get an error message saying can't load track - check your sound setting. But when i load it when the sound card is connected it works properly. I'm kinda surprised because it the same setting i have been using since i got the software but now I'm getting a different message.

Even though I'm a Windows user, and you have a Mac, I get exactly the same situation. For me it's understandable though, as I use an external soundcard to do gigs, but quite often at home I like to use the internal speakers in my laptop to listen to the tracks.

I've been using the software since version 1.7, and as long as I can remember I've always had the same message in each subsequent version of the software.

I'm pretty sure that this is normal for the program to show the message when the soundcard is not connected, but don't quote me on it! If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will tell me! ;)

Hey,

When you run Cross with a special sound card like an external and the device is not present it stops working and you get the massage that a file can't be loaded. So in this case the sound device is currently not present and you have to select a new one.

So every time you change the setup you have to select again a new card. It's normal because it saves the settings and if something is not correct it should not work because this could cause problems on gigs when you suddenly use the internal in case of the external device ;).

So if this message appear please check the setting and also all devices that they are connected.

Regards
Christian
