I think I'm going to sell my decks :(

Some of you might've seen my issues with the RC and in the past the issues with my laptop, what with it having a Sandybridge processor. I said previously that I felt like all my issues were stopping me from enjoying practicing and greatly reducing that practicing time.
The decks I have also feel like they contribute a little to this. With the lack of time, I don't think I give them the care and attention they deserve. Dust causes me issues and I think I have grounding issues, which comes together with the sandybridge/usb1 issues mentioned above. Calibration is something I have to do over and over because the signal drops out after about 30 mins. I just end up feeling disheartened. I also don't really understand about stylus/weights etc. I bought new stylus for my str8-100s but having fitted them I get dreadful signal and the signal itself isn't perfectly circular. I thought this might be a source of one of my problems, but clearly the stylus I had already were fine.
So with all of this, I just think maybe it's time I gave up...and got a U-Mix Control Pro and went fully digital. But am i wrong, will I still have a lot of issues?
Sorry for the emo post! But this is a bit of a dilemma for me!
EDIT: One other question, is there likely to be a new controller release from Mixvibes coinciding witht he release of Cross 2.0?
