What is the best connections to my Behringer EQ?

I am not a professional, I only do family events and have purchased the DJ Control Pro.

I have a Behringer eq that feeds into behringer amp.

My older controller gemini cdm3600 has the connection on back same as my EQ. (XLR Balanced connectors).

The MIX V Pro does not. It only has the (L)(R) RCA audio connectors.

My EQ also has both XLR and large 1/4 single stereo connector.

I purchased 1/4 Male to Dual RCA Female connector.

Then I connected the two left/right RCA outputs from MIX Controller to the EQ.

With both RCA connected the sound is not good.
With one RCA (removed WHITE) the sound is better.

Thank You for any help..

That is audio basicd actually.

The one you purvhased is a Stereo 1/4 Jack to stereo RCA, which is not good for your setup.

(Jump to the bottom of this post if you want to skip explanations)

1/4 jack connectors on your Behringer EQ are balanced line inputs, that means "One-plug-one-side" that should carry only one signal.

Balanced input mean, that the two signals (on the jack connector that is the tip of the connector and the middle part) are both "hot" connectors, carring the SAME signal, that should have a 90° phase offset (the sound source must have a balanced output), so when the reciever device (In this case the Behringer EQ) puts them back together (by reversing the phase offset), it will eliminate most of the noise gathered on the cable, making a good quality sound.

They do the same with XLR connectors, but mostly when connecting mixer to an AMP (for example the XLR male connectors on the back of a Pioneer mixer)

What you did, that you are giving two different signals without the 90° offset to a balanced line input, so when "poor" EQ wants to put them together it will all mess up.

In short use these type of cables, one for the left and the other for the right:
