  not shure if they have considered just selling then, but if you have the option of getting them with the software/hardware bundled together i think its not a bad deal

Well, couple thing you should know:

With the U-Mix starter kit, you'll get:
- MixVibes Headphones, with screw-on 1/4 adapter (gold platted)
- A black carry bag for the headphones (with mixvibes logo)
- A 48000kHz Pendrive-size USB soundcard
- Home 7, and manual (installation CD)
- Coloured stickers to put on keyboard as you map them in software
- As I remember you get Mixvibes stickers, at leat 2
- A Manual for Home 7
- And a nice box to store stuff

The soundcard you get is very good, it has one small jack output, but it sound very clear, and it can drive the headphones full, and it can be used well with ASIO driver. Right now it is my primary soundcard since the one in my laptop don't work.
If I use it with Mixvibes headphones I set the volume to 1 (out 100), because it is quite loud that way.
If I use other, I usually set it to 2-or 3.
It has automatic Bass reduction, so if you turn it up, it will reduce the bass adaptively, keeping your ears safer :)

   what is the compartive price of a set of mid level headphones,,50 to 75 dollars ,,
 right now everyone is waiting on Cross v2 for samples
:?: have you ever encountered the need to just carry only your laptop to a gig or need to practise /set up your media collection, with out the need for pheripal hardware :?:
 right now Cross has 13 fx  home/DVS has more,,
 possible plus of getting stickers
started my mixvibes mission in 2004 with home 6,set up my samples with home,,,overdubed Cross mixes in home to get more effects and layer in my samples,,still use the usb sc when i dont need the outputs to go to my system, overall the price you pay for something you want,,(mixvibe logo headphones) is not bad,,
:?: :?: right now its the only way to get them,,maybe later they wont be avaible
seems like you have a easy choice
