Approximately 3.000 MP3 files, bought from 2004 till now and here is a list of all my vinyls: http://www.discogs.com/collection?user=Blackbrook

I once had 450 records which I have sold completely to be able to buy digital gear in 2004. One thing I can tell you: Never ever (!!!!) sell your records! NEVER! I am still disappointed that I don't have them right now...

Interesting thread! For me its all been down to finances, it's not the cheapest hobby! Maybe I should have taken up origami instead  I have roughly 300 vinyl records, some in the loft, some have been brought down now, mostly hard house but some techno, funky, funky vocal, deep house, from the ninties and early 2000's when I was playing out alot. Ive lost alot of my mp3 files as my old computer died and I havent been able to extract the files off the old hard drive, a lot of them were burnt to disk, still got them, maybe a couple of hundred, lost more than that though. Probably got about 200 cd singles from about 10 years ago too, when I bought my first cd deck. Just building up my new collection now. Pretty feeble compared to you lot! haha

:D I will never get rid of my vinyl. I like having it around, even if it doesnt get played that much. Still got my record decks, one in the loft but the other one is downstairs. I feel happy having them where I can see them. Is that a bit daft? They are like old friends. Got some rare pieces and really cool first editions and white lables that you cannot get anywhere. Plus my favourite album ever on vinyl, Leftism. Ahhhhhhh......
