Review: Actually I just went down there to eat pencakes but in the and I made freakin' good party down there My friend asked me to take the music going on, while he finds the toilet, he returned 30 minutes later, but I stayed in the booth anyway

Review: I has been a label party of two friends of mine. I was asked to play there from the beginning till the peak time. This is what I did and some said I did a good job - did my job and had lots of fun Oh almost forgotten: the resident started playing hardtechno at 11PM although the label is known for progressive and tech house dumb*ss

Idiots - 0 (A miracle for that club!)
Drunks - Just one! (Again, a miracle!)

Review: This is the club that has given me regular bookings througout the year. Tonight was supposed to be a big night - the start of the cricket season, but as the weather was so bad the game got cancelled, and hardly any of them turned up for the disco! Very disappointing...

New Event!

Venue - 10/10 (my favourite!)
Event - 8/10 - new karaoke night
Audience - 7/10 (more people needed)
Food - n/a
Idiots - none
Drunks - none
Payment - very fair - and on a rising scale if the night gets popular.

We decided to try a new Karaoke night at the same place where I do it on a Tuesday. This time, we are doing it in a smaller room, using my rig, instead of their setup in the large room.

Tonight was the first attempt, and it was lots of fun, and very friendly, and a success in my opinion! The main room is far too large for karaoke - more suited to concerts/live gigs, and I'm sure that everyone whoturned up tonight would agree. Many of them were regulars, and seemed to enjoy themselves better, and feel more relaxed in the smaller room.

I'm pleased to say that my rig sounded awesome in there! - buying those 15" bass speakers was absolutely the best thing - not to blow the windows out (I rarely use them above 50% of their power), but to produce a nice 'full' sound in the room.

I'm looking forward to doing it all again next week!
