No, the pmc has no interface built in It's MIDI only.
Also the fx-insert plops when activating and the phono preamps don't sound good imo.
I sold mine.
If you have enough money I would test the Pioneer djm t1.
I'm no Pioneer fan, but that is a really nice mixer.

Yes, the Pioneer as a built-in interface that sounds really good.
(I usually don't like Pioneer mixer because for me they have to little low-end, but the t1 sounds really more like a A&H mixer than a Pioneer)
For timecode you definitely need an interface, but I don't know if you can use Vfx without one.
Again I'm really not shure as I haven't used Vfx yet.

If you ask me, it is worth buying a separate soundcard, and a good mixer.
I don't like mixers with built in soundcard in it.
Soundcards are pretty good nowdays, and has more options for ins and outs than 2 chanel mixers with built in soundcard.
I would go with a N.I Audio DJ 8.
Has 4 pair of ins (two switchabel, 2 line), 4 pair of outs, very high definiton sound, very fast, and this stuff will fit Cross 2.0 with its many outputs.
Or buy Pioneer if you can afford, but read through the manual for every mixer you buy, expecialy the USB audio parts, because sometimes you logically think that "this must be like this" and it's not.
I'm having a Reloop iQ 2 MIDI, good mixer, 24bit 96kHZ interface, one USB into the PC and sound goes out on both chanels, also works as a MIDI controller.... But there is no way to timecode with it, and because it has a separate ASIO core driver, I can't use other cards to handle timecode... but logically, I thought that if I set the mixer to USB mode, If I connect anything to the inputs it will send it to the computer, but NO.
So get info on everything and be certain...
(If I can change, I would buj Audio DJ 8, but life sux)

I´m pretty shure it should work, set Cross to external mixer routing, select usb1/2 on the IQ, but disable MIDI on the IQ, as the Midi-functionality will blocks the IQ´s inputs. (no timecode passing thru to Cross)

It is a bit more difficult... the mixer only send CD inputs to the computer if I select them on the mixer as input source on the chanels.
I'm using the mixer chanels in USB all the time, and I disabled all MIDI on IQ (I disbled it on the mixer, each connetor is set to disable MIDI, but no luck

).
Did you used that kind of mixer before?
I know this should be working logically... I was pissed off when it turned out it does not work

But you put the bug into my ears so I read the reloop forum a bit, and I wrote a PM to them, see if they answer...

Line in would work as well.
I'd try to install the driver again, or maybe try asio4all.
If that don't work you know its the mixer, if it works then the reloop driver plain sucks.

I think I know the problem.
The driver install instruction says, that only during the intall I should plug the mixer to the PC.
I plugged it before, and windows can't use it now in PWM, and Asio4all can't use it either, only the core driver.
I delete the drivers, cleand the registry, and do it in the good way, let's see if it works
