No it won't but pushing a button for the wished function shouldn't be hard to do.

I was just searching the net for Cross 2.0 pictures, because I was curious about some functions of Cross 2.0.

And I found a picture on Digital Jockey forum, which pleased me:

- Independent Filters (I wanted this sooo much )
- 4 decks
- FX with amount and depth (level or dry/wet).

So I'm very happy with this now, and I can map my Contour fully up without having empty sections

I've just starting using Cross DJ (with CDJ-350) and I was afraid while reading this that the update will be an extra 30€.
I'm very impatient to play on this new version.

If you want to upgrade to Cross than yes it costs a upgrade fee but then updates should be free.
