If the Sampler is as advanced as it seems, you´d be better off using an apc40, hahaha

I wont have any problems, at last i will be able to utalise my Vestax VCI400 controls , does the U-Mix have firmware update capabilty, if so they will probally add some double funtions to some controls.

not a doubt in my mind that they will get it sorted,,like you just curious,,and yes U M C P is firmware updatable and like you cant wait,but in the mean time setting up my sample collection

One last question am i correct in thinking that we will have the capability to send 8 or 16 samples at one time from the sample folders,like in a group, if not would be good to send in groups to the sample banks,great for setting up samples for sets beforehand quick bank importing.

No you can only load a bank.
The media manager allow to tags samples : pad number/instrument/play mode and some more.

The U-Mix Control Pro will need some re-mapping to hold some (not all) of the new features.
Filters and fx are available for each sample deck.

Yes but mapping the sampler is a breeze.

APC20 or Launchpad would be enough and cheaper.

The mapping is already done for the VCI 400, this is the controller I choose to show the power of the new features.
