Please do not 'Lock' posts

I am astounded a post has been locked while I was posting ref recording my mixes! Not only have i found that Mixvibes does not record when using an external mixer but I have been silenced!

I hope i am right in thinking this forum is the main point of call for help and support. It seems there was confusion over Line-In and Mic sockets - these are different, using Audacity i cannot use Mic to record, i need a line-in, this is where my search for a package like Mixvibes initiated.

To all users with the power to 'lock' please spare a thought for all us mear mortals that are asking for help - this is the only area we can get help and it seems when a moderator has heard enough or believes their word is god then so be it!

I just wanted some advice.
Amanda

Sorry Amanda,

your last posts just left the impression as if you wouldnt have read the thread, but only the header and then went in to occupy it.

If you read the whole thread you will see that the solution for your problem is given on page 1.

I really like to help out, but if I´m feeling people (not you sepcifically, but in general) dont want to do the tiniest bit of research by themselves I will lock a thread.

Especially if the answer has already been given or if there are tutorials all over the place.
