People who see me working with Cross ask me, why is it so special compared to other softwares out there.
Well, I usually tell them, that just look at it. What you see what you get: Ergonomic arrangement, easy usage, quality.
And I proove.
But I always have to say that equipment is also a good point and can really back down a performance. I used to thought about it at least.
I had a Contour CE (I'll give it back to the seller's service, so they can either fix it or I can buy it down).
I liked playing with it, I really did. Messing with the jogwheel, controlling the FX, and it was great fun, and it prooved.
But I cought myself typing and using the touchpad, 'couse I'm used to it.
And just in the weekend I actually made a perfect transition using only one hand and the keyboard and touchpad (while I was occupied by my girlfriend

), so I really thought the following:
"Only the DJ-s limits can determain the Software limits. And this community has the ability to expand the limits of the software, if DJ-s want more."
I am a jamming guy, using FX, mixing vocals onto other tracks making fast suddent wicked transitions, but I haven't explored the full potencial of Cross yet. And I never had the feel to it untill now.
So If my hardware can do, I'm planning to do a wicked about 2 min jammin' with Cross, no controller, just a mouse and keyboard.
Expect hot-cue killin', looping and roll crazyness, and freezing GUI

So Pray for the gods of Latency and Lag, and tell them to get away from me, 'couse I'm about to get sick!!!
I'll try to record video, but If I can't I'll ask for your apology (my laptop is a
Seriously

S**t. )
Looking ahead:Looking ahead feels nice. I see where things are going, and I think I got Cross in the right time, so I complitely can think over my style, layout and so on.
I'm realy sorry, that I have to miss MusicMesse this year, it was a wonderful experience last year, that put me on the road of "Mixvibes".
So If you use Cross: Show the world, that you rock! Show, expand, and take the word out, so you can change people's life, like you changed mine!
Regards to all of you from a 22 year old Hungarian University student: Bence Bujtor (aka DzsoniB).
