DVD's and Assigning controllers

Hi, Just a quick question. I recently purchased the Vfx software and controller in the UK (as a package) and wondered how I obtain the extra DVD footage and clips that are advertised? the retailer is not sure if they are sent direct from yourselves?

Also how do I assign the left hand deck on the mixvibes controller so I can put through an external mixer on one channel and the right hand deck onto a separate channel. Currently, both left and right sound outputs are combined onto one channel? I cannot see how to do this. I am sure it must be very easy, but cannot work out how.

Hey Paul,

You can find the DVD files in the Download section.

Hi
About the assignation yes it's easy
- first thing to do is check your audio configuration : there should be 2 or 3 outputs activated :
* VFX1 /VFX2 on 1st
* VFX3 /VFX4 on 2nd
and eventually
* VFX5/VFX6 on 3rd,
if they are 3 active ouputs, 3rd should be selected as monitor
- second thing is to assign the player itself : Just below the player number, you have a smaller 2 digits figure that you can change by clicking on it : this is the assignation of player, so below the big figure 1 it should read 01 and below the big 2 it should read 02

Thank you for the info. I have easily assigned the right hand deck to number 2 out. However, I have very little output volume on this channel now. The channel visually show masses of volume, but the master volume control is not effective for the right hand side. It only works for deck number 1. Any ideas??
