Hi j-kut.
I get that problem a lot too. Try turning the controller off for a few seconds then back on again. If that doesn't work unplug the usb cable, leave for a few seconds then plug it back in. - Simple fix - it's always worked for me.
Cheers.
James.

My laptop recognizes;
Speaker U46 Audio Driver
U46 Ch12 Audio Driver
U46 Ch34 Audio Driver
U46 Ch56 Audio Driver
Microphone U46 Audio Driver

But does not show the MIXVIBES U46 MK2 ASIO that the software needs to select in order to achieve the multiple inputs and outputs required. This ASIO driver does however show up and selects in the Cross software preferences. I have also used the U46mk2_v3.0_xp_vista_7 driver as my DVS pack had no software included (secondhand) and the Cross software I bought from the website didn't have a driver included.

This give us information we need. Your card is not installed for Cross correctly. You need the asio Driver (depends on the OS you are running but I think it is windows with 64bit) so you need the V3.0 Driver which is 64bit compactible.
Please do the following steps:
Go to the device manager and uninstall the current installed driver and card from your system by klicking on one of the entries like "Speaker U46 Audio" and press Uninstall device.
After that you unplug the device and turn it off.
Next you install the V3 driver from the board (Download section) and while the installer is running there comes a point where you have to plug in the device (it will give you an dialog that you have to plug in and turn it on) after that press next as often up to the installer is recognising the device. If everything works correct windows will ask you to install an unsigned driver so you have to say YES I WANT TO INSTALL THE DRIVER! if you say no WIndows installes the WDM driver and you will not be able to run Cross with asio.
After that the device should be installed correctly and the Controll Panel should also show up the volume control for every channel.
After that go to Cross and enable Asio device.

Please be shure that you will at this point only use this USB Port for the device (on a new usb port you have to install the driver again!) ALso please turn the device on after windows boots up complete. (if the device is on at boot windows could set the device as primary audio controller and you will not be able to run Cross with it!)

So give us feedback if it helps.

Thanks
Christian

Thanks Christian... same result though! I can get Cross to recognize my Behringer UCA202 and the time code works but this doesn't have two inputs. With the U46 file I keep getting the same drivers and no input detection :frown: Could this be a Wavetable issue? Do I need to disable anything? I have tried so many variations, should I clean the registry and if so how? Sorry if I am being persistent! I love the software and GUI I just wish the hardware interface would communicate properly.
