Question about timecode

I have the demo version (1.7.0), and i am unable to configure my time code.
I think it is a problem with my cartridge, or the software.

So my only question is:

Is the time code supposed to make a long, uninterrupted tone?

As of now it sounds maybe distorted. But there's hope. It stopped working out of the blue. One day its good, the next it doesn't work. So maybe it is a software issue.

I get an error that says that The pitch is not on zero
I am sure it is. How can i get around this?

I need to be sure of what I am doing before i purchase this software. And yes, I bought one control vinyl to test it out.

**it is on my macbook, if that helps**

Hey,

you can use at the demo only one channel with timecode so deck 1 is with timecode controll. Can you see at Cross at the vinyl section any signal of the timecode?

and yes for us the timecode signal sounds like a long PIEP tone.

Christian

Well DudeMan, that is the timecode you are hearing! Switch the inputs from "Line In" to "Player" on top of the mixer section in Cross then you are able to play tracks!
