Cross (DJ) 1.7.1 - General Feedback

Hey MixVibes-Team,

I want to say thumes up! Nice new version totally. I tested the beta but this is much faster than before! My hole database is searched as quick as never. I love it all in all. This will be a Ultimate solution for every DJ (Cross for DVS Users and Cross DJ as MIDI Interface edition). Tomorrow I will test the new version at an gig for the local registered association christmas party.
in 2 days I will give a detailed feedback about the evening. I will test to run the show only with my notebook and the iPad U-Mix Remote App.

I tested Cross 1.7.1 last night. Did a Birthday party (140 guests) at a bar in town and it was fine (as always).

Tonight at the club will be the main test. Hopefully we'll have the usaully crowd in (500+).

Yes its a big party today's evening round 160+ people in the smal area I hope I have enough space to put all my equipment there .

@Jim: sounds good that it worked all in all good. Than it will be perfect today's evening.

Hey,
Now i can Write again ( Internet is not working currently at home so I have to write at th e university Internet ).

To Cross DJ + U-Mix Remote App:
Setup: Cross DJ1.7.1 with U46MK2 at my notebook connected to my PA.
Remote App connected via WLan with my iPAD2.

Location: Restaurant with an big room. 160 guests

Now to how it worked:
Everything worked very well. It started with setting up the connection between the iPad and the computer and the connection between Cross DJ and the remote app.
Let me high lite some special points:
1. It worked 9 hours without any problem, no disconnecting, no crash.
2. Cross DJ is much faster than before with big databases.
3. New sound effects are buitiful!

the guests had fun and me too because they looked a bit Confussed that i play and mix with an iPad and computer. They looked more confused when I went to the bar and got some drinks and start new song from my iPad.

So thumbs up again to that new buitiful version. Keep up the good work.

I've got a huge New Year's Eve party to do this year, and guess what? I'm not going to have to work too hard because of this awesome program. I've got my playlists already set up and I'm good to go!

It's so good to have a DJ program that you can trust!
