Wotcha!

Hi,

I'm primarily a mobile DJ and do a lot of weddings.

Cross DJ was recommended to me by Valeway Techonlogy, so I thought I'd come and have a look

Music wise, I'm into 80's soul and also like older soulful & classic house.

Like my gadgets and have just started using Macs for gigging.

Now I need to find out if the MC-600 is supported, so I can make a purchase!

Thanks,
Martin

Hi Martin,

CrossDJ is a good choice

The Denon MC-600 is not natively supported in CrossDJ (yet) but the controller can be mapped quite easier by yourself and should work with CrossDJ just fine.

Thanks Jim

Mapping seems quite daunting, are there tutorials?

Mapping a controller can be quite daunting, but it's actually quite easy. It has to be if I can do it, pmsl!!!!!

Here is a offical MixVibes tutorial on MIDI Mapping for Cross (CrossDJ is the same). It's in french but we'll see how easy it is.

If you look on Youtube you might find some more stuff.

Also I've just looked in the Download centre and there is a Map for the DN MC600 that a Cross User, P_Jean has made and can be downloaded if you are registered user.
