The sound or a very tiny small frequency bandwidth of the sound that the EQs could not terminate? Because this would be totally normally. Even if you kill the EQs on casual or highly decorated mixers like the Pioneer DJM 800 you will still hear sound!

Cheers,

Steve

But there is still an option for full kill such as a button. And DJM 800 is a fairly old machine compared to the latest updated mixers. They do have the full kill option such as Pioneer djm 2000 which happens to boast about that option! And even the djm 400 has the full kill option. Over to Vfx, In the section where you select the Kill for the eq's what number should I put in to achieve the kill??

Well, no matter which mixer you are suggesting, new ones or, as you have described, old ones as the DJM 800, you will never find a mixer which kills the whole signal. If you think all sound is killed just amplify it and you will hear...
