Is there any documentation or examples of the filters we can use to search our collection's with new smartlist feature in Cross.
I've found how to create one, Can we create a filter ourselves or do we need to use one already in Cross.

Hey Mr. B,
yes, some new manuals would be nice
For now i can only suggest to dig thru the oem-smartlists and see how the filters work
cheers

Hey Jim,
as far as I have understood the smartlists work like this:
- you can add any criteria you want
- you can add as much criterias as you want
Here is an example of a mini collection:
Track A, BPM 127, Genre Prog House
Track B, BPM 126, Genre Prog House
Track C, BPM 125, Genre House
Track D, BPM 126, Genre House
Track E, BPM 128, Genre House
Track F, BPM 129, Genre House
Track G, BPM 131, Genre Prog House
Track H, BPM 127, Genre Prog House
Track I, BPM 126, Genre Prog House
Here is a filter: Genre is Prog House and then your smartlist
Track A, BPM 127, Genre Prog House
Track B, BPM 126, Genre Prog House
Track G, BPM 131, Genre Prog House
Track H, BPM 127, Genre Prog House
Track I, BPM 126, Genre Prog House
Another filter: Genre is Prog House, BPM is in the range from 126 to 128 then this is your smartlist:
Track A, BPM 127, Genre Prog House
Track B, BPM 126, Genre Prog House
Track H, BPM 127, Genre Prog House
Track I, BPM 126, Genre Prog House
You can add any criteria you want to build custom smartlists. Hopefully I got the point and did not steal your time with this example.
Cheers,
Steve

Hey Jimb, here is the list of the features you can choose from. You can then refine even more the features in Cross. Your playlist will then be automatically updated!

Thanks mate

I've got nothing on this weekend so I'm going to have a play around with this feature and see what it can do.

so in cross1.6.0 (YES, im a proud owner of this wonderful software from now on!), how can we disable/enable the one column in the library s collection where the music, play/smartlists and the history features are (or CAN we do that at all)? thanks

Doing that is very easy, just drag and drop the music folder in the collection to the left hand browser. Here is a screenshot of what i mean.

And here is the result:
