I made this originally for use with Cross - I hope it's useful to some folks here :)

Hey guys, so I 've done some testing and fine tuning to this template, and I already have an updated version.

I've got a bit more testing to do, but I would be happy to provide both the updated TouchOSC template and corresponding OSCulator configuration file if you'd like :)

I'll have it all ready for the weekend

hey man,

just a short comment from a non-touchosc user. i checked the screenshot of your mapping and i would suggest to change the sync and play buttons position as the play controls (cue/play btns) should be next to each other

anyway, nice work!

Great suggestion, I think I'll drop the Play button to sit next to the cue / sync buttons - thanks alot!

no i mean just exchange the play and the sync buttons, i think that would be the most handy
if u see any DJ software the play and cue buttons are ALWAYS next to (or underneath) each other so breaking this habit could cause a mess in the user s head

Hello again!

I've moved the play button down closer to thew sync button. Again - thanks for the suggestion, I could have swapped them....but I felt placing the Play button closer to the sync & cue seemed more appropriate. Just my feelings ;)

I've got a bit of a treat (I hope) in that I've also fully mapped all the buttons through to OSCulator, and into Cross :D

Now - I hope this actually works for you folks....I've done a few things here...keep in mind this is all done on my mac:

1. I saved the OSCulator mappings in a file called "CrossDJ"
(place this in your OSCulator files folder)

2. I've copied the mappings file from my Cross folder. This file is called "825511087.mappings" Cross named it - so I didn't bother changing it.
(place this in userhome / Library / Mixvibes / Cross / Controllers / MIDI folder)

3. I've updated the TouchOSC template "CrossDJ.touchosc"
(load this on your iPhone)

That 'should' be it. The files can all be downloaded here:

http://www.viperfunk.com/CrossDJ.zip

And here's an updated screenshot:

I've also posted this on my blog - so please feel free to hit the Facebook 'share' button or pass the link on:

:D Happy hunting!

hey, looks good ;)

one question: do u still have to load tunes with your computer s keyboard/touchpad/whatever or does this baby have another screen to do that and you dont have to touch the PC at all?
