Vfx material - sources?

Hey all,

since yesterday I am a proud member of the Vfx Control. I am just starting to get familiar with it and tried it with really bad youtube video rips of my favorite music. I already encountered that this is no good choice :)
Where do all the Vfx users in here get their videos from? Is there a store that you can recommend? Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Steve

Here's a few sources of the top of my head,Steve

https://promoonly.co.uk/v2/
http://www.mixmash.com/
http://www.mastermixdj.com
http://www.8thwonderpromos.com/
http://www.smashvidz.com/
http://www.12inchvideo.com

and iTunes too.

I don't know whether some of these have a download service or whether you have to buy a DVD(s) and rip/covert them yourself. But hopefully this will get you started.

BTW, Buying video's can be a expensive past time. I hope you have deep pockets my friend ;)

Thanks Jim! I had a quick look at it and found what I was looking for. It is just for fun. Unfortunately the music I love and their Producer do not release music videos. So this is just for fooling around with Vfx ;)

Thanks!

Cheers,

Steve

Thanks phaded!

How are you guys using Vfx? Mixing just video? Mixing audio & video? Is there a way I can play my MP3s while streaming these videos without sound? That would be great :)

Cheers,

Steve

I mix the audio and video of the file together. But you can choose to either mix the video or audio seperately if you want to.

Kind regards
