Any idea when the U-Mix Control Pro be hitting the stores

Postby Jim B on 01 Feb 2011, 16:27

Can anybody from the team say when the U-Mix Control Pro be hitting the "streets" I keep looking for it on different sites but I guess it's not out yet? Is it still being tested?

Also, any idea on the price, a rough estimate would help ;)

I believe it's still in testing then and the team can't give a exact date, with the response.

That's OK. I'll keep looking and waiting ;)

@team: you see that a lot of people are waiting for it. Even a friend of mine, not famliar to mixvibes gear and software, asked for it when he saw that I am using mixvibes software. Please give a short statement so that the people know what's up. I fear that otherwise the wave gets even smaller :-(

That seems a fair price, Steve :) but in the UK we have 20% VAT so the price will be quite a bit more unfortunately :(

19% over here :-( Guess you can get it for 349€ when it is released.

To be honest I am waiting for the U-Mix Control 2 - it is the one without the interface. This one will be cheaper I guess and to me this will totally fit because I still own two brilliant audio interfaces. But this won't be an all-in-one solution as you wish Jim ;)

Beware the UMC2 don't have touch sensitive jogs as the U-Mix Control Pro.

@Support & Jim

I have never understood for what touch senstive jogs are good for me :) I am no scratch DJ, I am using Cross and DVS for smooth mixing of electronic music. In my whole time as a DJ I have never scratched - as far as I can remember ;)
But if this does mean that I can not use the jogs to go back and forth in the waveform to set a cuepoint this will be a disqualifier. I am just not convinced 100% by the U-Mix Control Pro ("only" 99.99% ;)) because of its internal audio interface. I have just bought the Hercules Trim, a really good audio interface, so there is no need for another internal and I can save some money (I hope) that I already spent for the Trim ;)
Till today I am indecisive. I think time will tell.

:cool: :cool: eyes on this thread myself :eek: looking to go to a MIDI controler also :mrgreen: :mrgreen: price is always a concern, but getting what you want and what you pay for sometimes doesnt happen :!: want the all in one set up, dont need the software except to have a hard copy of the software :idea: like the color scene of the Cross with the dark section of the fade rack(i think one of the differences of Cross DJ)would use Cross on two comp, PC that is already set up with dual sc, and then set up a accuried laptop with the control pro,. realy would like to just purches the hardware only,,but fearful that it comes rigged to be of use only with the software installed, not being able to control the Cross ver i already have. the other ver has a Cross le with what ever limits are installed :mad: :mad: will be waiting and watching for feedback via the fourm on problems encontered and resolved on its emminent release and use :cool: :cool:
