hey crew, been strictly wax for the last 10 years but decided to make the change recently to a control record system.. ...

i bought the Cross Pack because it was on sale but it looks as though Producer is pretty damn good?

do any of the mix vibes products support VSTs?

cheers

As far as I am informed Producer does. DVS Ultimate does for sure, I have used Vsts in it.

Greetings,

Steve

welcome in another mixvibes D.J from OZ...good to see

blackbrook is right only DVS-u & Producer 7 have VSTi
for now

VSTi work good in mixvibes ....you can record what you play on a MIDI kayboard live in one off the decks in mixvibes & then scratch it from your turntable

you can also sequence the VSTi in mixvibes DVS-u from a EXternal MIDI Sequencer

how I use it is ...VSTi in mixvibes dvs-u I play with my pcr 500 keyboard.... I recoard a VSTi instrument tone in one off the decks in mixvibes ...now with the MIDI out from my mv 8000 sampler /MIDI sequencer to my MIDI in on my Vestax pdx 3000
I can now trigger & sequence & best off all SCRATCH the VSTi instrument tone thats recorded in the mixvibes from the mv 8000 to the pdx 3000 MIDI and it all be in sync

cheers fellas,

that sounds like a pretty nice set-up, i'm coming straight from only wax so just finding out all these possibilities of this amazing technology!

i am keen to use my Waves limiter on the master and some good delays (the Cross 1.5 delay is pretty limited) looks like i will def have to upgrade to Producer!

cheers again

Hey all new as well and like the OP I have been strictly vinyl for the past 15 or so years. My question is along this same line, but in regards to propellorheads Reason 4. I read somewhere that the two are compatible, but how?
