Just got myself an ION DJ Discover system with Mixvibes...

Never done any sort of mixing before (actually I used to mess around with PC DJ).

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and love the software. I'm a big fan of movie soundtracks/scores so found myself mixing this in with other tunes from the mid 90's I love.

And I managed to spell Scratch wrong when creating my username...durrr :)

  welcome, to mixvibes  i think one of the benifits of registaring your software on the fourm is the possibility of changing the spelling of your user name s   in order to reap the many benifits of the software you need to register the licence key on the fourm   again welcome to mixvibes

Thanks both - I looked around in user and account settings and can't find where I can correct my user name. Can anyone help?

:)

I believe that may be a job for the administrators of the forum or a MV team member.

You could try sending a PM to Uncle Vibes and see if he can help you with your user name ;)

Hey everybody.
I truly am an idiot regarding mixing. I have about 1,000 cds, and wanted to mix my own cds. I'm hoping I can figure out how to use the "discover DJ" to mix and record. So far it's difficult as the manual is very vague and refers me to this forum for help.

I'm tech on a car forum, and huge poster on a harley forum, but as my user names suggests, I'm a mixidiot. Can anyone have enough patience to explain to me extremely basic procedures to record and basic mix this thing. I'll catch on once I get goin', but really have know clue where to start since I loaded 2 tracks.

Thanks in advance for whoever is willing.

mixidiot.
