50% off: Traktor Scratch Duo now MUCH cheaper than Crosspack

Hi,

I think MixVibes is gonna have a hard time selling Crosspack / DVS since N.I. dropped Traktor Scratch prices to

EUR 175.- (Duo, Audio 2) and
EUR 299.- (Pro, Audio 8)

vs.

Crosspack EUR 299.-

So the choice is between Crosspack and Traktor Scratch Pro... It's gonna be rough for MixVibes.

Price war starting?
deflation coming up?

I'm very sure MixVibes can handle it. Anyway a bit of heathly competition don't hurt anybody ;)

Price war starting?

That's the feeling I had visiting the BPM show in Birmingham beginning of October...
A creative war is in my opinion now a necessity to distinguish Mixvibes product from competitors. For ages we have the lowest prices of turntablism solutions we need to prove now that our solutions are also more reliable...
Good news Cross adopt a new bpm analysis to win some markets and respect.
In memory of the good old time when Mixvibes released DVS in 2004, the price of a timecoded turntablist solution was around 600€ or more. Making a turntablist solution around half the price was a part of the marketing of Mixvibes when the company broke the monopoly of Final Scratch (native instrument & Stanton) and Rane-Serato. We did it, the DJ market needs also affordable products.
Prices, Creativity belongs to the culture of Mixvibes so I don't worry too much specially if we keep the best from our user demands.

now mixvibes needs to step up there sound card that is like the audio 4 DJ
but sounds just as good if not better. it should have one more input .
with usb 3.0 (usb 3.0 works with usb 2.0 but not as fast. when pluged in a usb 3.0 it works at 5.0 Gbps  o and there is no load with the usb 3.0 now like there is with a 500 mhz usb 2.0
so think about that .07 ms or lower no lag at all .

this new mixvibes sound card would kill my rme rpm for have the cost

crosspack 2.0

there is now laptops coming out with usb 3.0 on them there or even drop in cards

trust Uncle V to put a good spin on this....but I'm not buying it
mixvibes should be shaking in there boots...

here is the reason why...

over at AUDJforums here in OZ..I know 4 users that today got Traktor Scratch pro because off the price drop

I do try to promote mixvibes over here...to the point off giving my mixvibes Producer with time code vinyl as a prize in a mix comp at AUDJforums....but no one put a mix up....so I'm giving away to a user that is just starting out dj-ing & needs it...
its like banging my head on a wall...trying to get people to look at mixvibes software

now what do I say to people over at AUDJforums when there looking for a DVS...I can't say its cheaper...I can't say the sound card is better...I can't say the time code vinyl is better
what do I say...?????????????...because I am trying

what do the French know about winning a war against the Germans

I am talking about competition not destruction. The French know enough about winning or losing a war against the Germans to made them their best allied in Europe.
It is more fun to compete today with the same rules. The last centuries gave some conflicts & so mad criminal experiences that you hardly believe they are true today. European Union in 2010 is a reality, bad experiences belong to the past!
Traktor Scratch Duo is just much cheaper than itself but I won't order an Air Strike for that.
