To whom it may concern:

I don't really use digital mediums when DJ'ing "live". I only use my mac when recording and mixing at home. So I have a few questions about what I can and cannot use.

1. In the rules it states that "Participants can use ANY MixVibes software." Does that mean we could use it if we wanted to or have to since the entry is just an audio file and not a program file? i.e. all vinyl set recorded and mixed in audacity on a mac or DAT

Are you allowed to use...
2. material that was with a ninja tune artist but not released from the label? i.e. 'koala's lament' from the 75 ark/tommy boy label or a remix of an artists' song

3. any tracks released from ninja tune label? i.e. solesides greatest bumps(ZENCD51QP)

4. vocal segues and/or the original track that was sampled by an artist? i.e. a sound clip from a film talking about ninjas or an a capella

In the rules it states that "Contestants can only use tracks from Ninja Tune, Big Dada and Counter Records’ rosters" and "Any tracks from Ninja Tune, Big Dada or Counter Records’ catalogue can be used in this contest" so I would assume yes on questions 2 & 3. I would hate for someone to be disqualified for something small but still have a great mix. I know it's only a 10 minute mix but there's a lot you can do and I'd hate to miss out on an opportunity like this.

thanks for your time
